LOW COUNTRY
Introducing “Low Country”
A Collection Inspired by Edisto Island
There’s something timeless about Edisto Island—a quiet stretch of the South Carolina coast where Spanish moss sways in the breeze, and the air carries the salty calm of the tide.
This summer, we had the joy of visiting Edisto with my husband’s entire family—a trip made extra special as it marked our daughter’s very first beach vacation. With beach chairs, sunscreen, and matching t-shirts packed, we made the long drive down the coast for a week of sunshine and togetherness.
As always, we spent our days collecting shells and soaking up every possible moment by the water. Somewhere between the tides and the slow southern afternoons, inspiration began to stir. I knew I wanted to create a collection that captured the tranquility and comfort of the Low Country—the kind of peace that only a place like Edisto can offer.
And so, Low Country was born.
In this collection, you’ll find a blend of soft, abstract works layered with texture and emotion— framed in vintage gold, chosen to reflect the quiet nostalgia that lingers in the Edisto air.
What You’ll Find in the Collection:
Textural abstracts
Vintage gold frames that lend a timeless, heirloom feel to each piece
Coastal landscape paintings
I hope these pieces bring a bit of that calm and southern charm into your home.
Thank you for letting me share the first look at Low Country—a collection inspired by the sea, family, and the simple magic of slowing down.
With love,
Abigail Marie
